How to Install and enable Flash for Chromium on Ubuntu Linux

New to Ubuntu Linux? This computer operating system could be a bit tricky for beginners, but fret not, help is here. Check out this video tutorial on how to install and enable Flash for Chromium on Ubuntu Linux.

To install the latest Chromium on Ubuntu, open a terminal and:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

and add this line:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu/ jaunty main

Then add the Launchpad PPA GPG key:

sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 0xfbef0d696de1c72ba5a835fe5a9bf3bb4e5e17 b5

And finally, install Chromium:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install chromium-browser

For Enabling FLASH:

Copy libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/chromium-browser/plugins
